Wedding in Perpignan

In the soft light of the Bellavista Estate, near Perpignan, three worlds came together: New York, China and the South of France.

 

Languages mingled, gestures responded to one another, and an invisible thread connected all the guests around the same couple.

At Saint-Jacques Church, the ancient stone welcomed emotional glances, searching hands, and discreet smiles.

Then, at the Domaine de Bellavista, the celebration took over: conversations in the shade of the trees, bursts of laughter on the terrace, and later, that quiet energy circulating from table to table.

When the Catalan music began to play, circles formed and feet moved in unison.

The Chinese family and friends who had travelled from afar all found their place in the circle for a simple, sincere dance together.

Being a wedding photographer sometimes means stepping back to see better: capturing the light on a shoulder, the complicity of a glance, the gentleness of a gesture.
