Chateau de Villeclare

Wedding in Perpignan
At Château de Villeclare, near Perpignan, the late spring light was everywhere: on the pale stones, in the foliage, on the tables set up in the centre of the park.
There was a sense of the gentle ease of a day designed for family and friends, an atmosphere that was both elegant and informal, where everyone naturally found their place.
In the early afternoon, under the reassuring shade of a hundred-year-old oak tree, the secular ceremony brought together the close circle of friends and family. The words, sometimes punctuated by laughter, sometimes by tears, circulated from one face to another, carried by the simplicity of the gestures and the beauty of the setting.
The bride and groom, who had come from Ireland, had opted for simplicity: classic outfits and an unpretentious atmosphere, letting the light and emotions do the rest. The meal was organised around large cross-shaped tables, a place for meeting and sharing, where the light glided over the glasses and white tablecloths.
As the afternoon wore on, the party grew in intensity: lively conversations, bursts of laughter, and an energy that slowly built until night fell and the music took over.
Being a wedding photographer often means stepping back to observe: the changing light, the tenderness of a glance, the camaraderie of a group. On that day, each image captured the elegant simplicity of a wedding at the Château de Villeclare, surrounded by nature, human warmth and shared joy.
