Wedding in Cahors

Some days are out of the ordinary, and this wedding at the Château de Roussillon in the Lot region is a shining example. The bride and groom, both cinema enthusiasts, dreamed up an original and unforgettable wedding just a stone's throw from Cahors.​

 

The Château de Roussillon, an iconic location in the Lot region, was transformed into a real film set for the occasion. Each guest was given one instruction: to come dressed as eccentrically as possible.

The result? A colourful cinema-themed wedding, where extravagant costumes, quirky accessories and sparkling personalities came together in a unique atmosphere.

As a wedding photographer, I had the chance to capture this explosion of creativity. Being a wedding photographer at Château de Roussillon means capturing spontaneous moments, scenes worthy of a film set, and memories unlike any other wedding in the Lot region.​

 

Photographing this wedding meant capturing the unexpected, capturing the light on a mask, the tenderness behind a costume, the joy of a celebration unlike any other.
