Wedding in Cahors

Some weddings leave a lasting impression, and Caroline and Carlos's wedding at the Château de Roussillon is a perfect example. She, a bubbly Frenchwoman, he, a Mexican with an infectious smile, both living in Dubai, imagined a celebration that reflected who they are: explosive, full of love, laughter, and energy. The majestic and timeless Château de Roussillon was transformed into a veritable theater of joy for the occasion. From the very first moments, it was clear that this day would be unlike any other: music filled the air, laughter rang out, and love floated in the air like a summer fragrance.

And then there was that magical moment when the mariachis made their entrance, bringing with them the warmth and color of Mexico. The guitars, trumpets, and vibrant voices made hearts dance and guests swoon, uniting all generations and cultures in the same fervor. Caroline and Carlos, inseparable and close, led their guests into a colorful celebration, where traditions mingled and tenderness and gentle madness crossed paths at every turn. Their happiness was contagious, their humor irresistible, and their energy simply inexhaustible.​

 

As a photographer, I was lucky enough to capture these moments of pure spontaneity: knowing glances, wild dancing, shared laughter under the castle lights, and of course, the magic of the mariachis who brought the evening to life.
